Insect Sculpture

Giant metal insects are a Thrussells speciality, with a love of nature and the insect world Thrussells have been developing and perfecting their skills over the past thirty years to be able to create these amazing giant replica insect sculptures.

To create these giant studies of insects, Thrussells first study an insect specimen, making enlarged patterns and noting all the little details to recreate in metal. Every part of the insect is carefully handmade and shaped to reflect nature’s beauty in copper and steel.
