Rook With A Book Statue

‘Rook With A Book’ Sculpture commemorates the famous story by Daphne Du Maurier’s ‘The Birds’ which was also the basis of the Alfred Hitchcock’s film of the same name in 1963.

This small Rook statue has been reproduced directly from the actual ‘Rook With A Book’ sculpture at Town Quay in Fowey. Thrussells used digital 3D imaging to create a digital copy of the sculpture. This digital copy of the Rook was then 3D printed to a size of 16cm tall. From this model Thrussells had a mould created to reproduce the replica dark pewter resin statues of Isla – ‘Rook With A Book’.

Rook With A Book statues have a unique casting number and signed by Thrussells.

Every statue has the lustre and weight of a bronze casting. The Rook statues is 16cm high x 18cm deep x 10cm wide.
