From the mid 90’s Thrussells have been designing and making heritage themed story telling sculpture for town squares, schools and trails. Thrussells heritage sculpture is a modern day hieroglyph storytelling style. Each piece depicts a story of a town, area or person in relief imagery, all made from hot dipped zinc galvanised mild steel.
These sculptures are designed to last for 80 years plus in the public realm. Each sculpture’s interoperation has been developed with community groups, schools or historians. It’s important to Thrussells to create a heritage sculpture that represents the important historical events of the people and unique history of an area. Thrussells have a strong believe heritage sculpture should be for all to interpret, enjoy and feel a sense of pride in their history with high quality and durability.
Thrussells heritage sculpture can be seen nationwide from Cornwall, North Wales across to Essex.
